A DAY IN L.A.
So I spent most of my most recent time in California in Laguna and Newport area with my good friend from High School who I was visiting. We decided to drive up the coast to LA for a day while I was out there. Los Angeles is always a good time even just for a day. We started the day with breakfast at The Butchers Daughter in Venice right on Abbott Kinney, so naturally shopping was followed after we ate. Mid-afternoon we heading more towards Hollywood and Melrose did some more shopping and finally got to try Alfred Coffee to see what all the fuss was about. Rad atmosphere and delicious coffee. We of course had to go to the famous pink wall on the side of the Paul Smith shop and get the typical photo for Instagram (here.) Once the evening rolled around we met up with another friend from High School who we haven't seen forever for dinner and drinks. We started at Gracias Madre, it was my first time going, can I saw incredible!! Everything was super delicious and we ate outside by the fireplace, score! Much food and laughter happened all through dinner, its so fun to catch up with old friends and laugh about things in the past. We ended the night with some yummy cocktails over at Jessica Biel's new place Au Fudge, it is the cutest inside with the cozy chic porch full of pillows, dim light and trees. Plus there is a photo booth so we def hit that up a few times!
