PALM SPRINGS // JOSHUA TREE // 26

We started the next part of our trip on my 26th birthday by heading into Palm Springs then Joshua Tree for day.. I was beyond excited to celebrate my birthday this way.  The Ace Hotel has always been a bucket list item to visit, lets say I got to cross that off the list!  When we arrived I immediately ran over to the famous Ace sign making Josh take a million photos ahaha. We were super hungry from our drive from Phoenix so we of course at Kings Highway inside the hotel and started off with some birthday mimosas and I had their hella good fish tacos, mmmm! Of course we proceeded to the photo booth and had some fun. The views, vibe and everything about the Ace Hotel was exactly how I imagined it would be.

After spending most of the afternoon there we then drove into Joshua Tree to hike around just for a LITTLE bit only because it was 110 degrees and hot as hell! Joshua Tree has always been another on my bucket list, and it is absolutely breath taking.  Standing right in the middle of it all seems surreal.  Again we took a million photos with the plan to print some out for wall art in our apartment.  After a long busy AMAZING birthday we headed to Los Angeles for some birthday sushi in Venice and to spend the next few days there!

    I also just went to Palm Springs! We only stopped for lunch on our way to LA but it was so cool! I'd love to go back some time when it's less hot and explore!
