HAPPY HALLOWEEN

dress THAT SHUU GIRL | flats FOREVER21 | hair accessories VINTAGE

Easy DIY Halloween costumes are my go to!  I refuse to spend money on "actual" pre made costumes that ill only wear once. For my costume this year I was looking in my closet trying to think of what I could do, I really thought of being 011 from Stranger Things!  But first off my hair is really long, I didn't have a similar pink dress and was going to be too much.  I love this gorgeous black dress from That Shuu Girl boutique in Lancaster, PA, than I thought I could for sure use this and just do Black Swan.  I had everything I needed, black flats, gloves, and I just used make up I already had to make my face up.  The hair accessories are vintage pieces I've collected over the years.  My favorite costumes are always once I see people make themselves, so who says you can't have an awesome look for cheap!!

Then on Saturday we had a friend visit from New York and a group of us went out around the city.  I wanted to be something else so again I looked into my closet and thought of the typical Sugar Skull. Hahah, I've never been one before so I didn't care if it was not the thing to do this year.  I used makeup I had for my face, pulled the flowers off an ikea plant we have in our apartment and used a dress I already own that was very appropriate. Josh was the Brawny Paper Towel man and everyone loves his costumer while we were out! Hope everyone had a great Halloween and what did you all dress us as?!?
