GIRLS WEEKEND IN GEORGETOWN

I have been counting down the days for weeks for our girls weekend to Georgetown in Washington, DC.  Georgetown is the cutest and my favorite part of DC. We spent saturday shopping all afternoon and grabbed lunch at SWEET GREEN a place I have been dying to eat at. I was not disappointed at all, I highly recommend the cucumber ginger lemonade and the misoba salad. After eating we shopped more and worked up an appetite for dessert. We went to a local place BAKED AND WIRED where I finally got to meet Tabatha, who I have been friends with on Instagram and a follower of her blog that you can read HERE! She was just as sweet as I imagined her to be, so glad we finally met lady! This was my first time eating here, I had an amazing pumpkin spice ice cream sandwich that was between two ginger snap cookies, omg I want that again right now! Then we decided we should check in to our hotel so we could unwind before going back out for dinner and drinks. Our hotel was the bomb!! We stayed at THE MELROSE HOTEL, super trendy, cozy and chic. Perfect location for Georgetown, we were able to walk everywhere.  Of course we went out to dinner for sushi at ASIA 54, it was some of the freshest tasting sushi I had since vacation in California. We split a bottle of sake to start our night, afterwards we got some drinks and had more drinks in our hotel lobby bar. Sunday morning is what we were super excited for! DRAG QUEEN BRUNCH at Perry's restaurant.  It was out of control fun, we stayed at the brunch four hours having so much fun, my voice was almost gone monday morning from all the screaming and laughing that happened at brunch! Before heading home we had to go to GEORGETOWN CUPCAKES, obviously I got a box to take home of the seasonal pumpkin spice and red velvet. This weekend was too much fun we were all sad to be heading back home.
